VIRGINIA FLIGHT ATHLETIC CLUB
The Virginia Flight Athletic Club is a Club Level III, AAU-member, 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt, not-for profit organization based out of Chesterfield, VA. The Virginia Flight Athletic Club was founded and developed for the purpose of promoting Christian based character, values, good sportsmanship, the teaching of sport fundamentals, competition, friendship, academic and athletic excellence through competitive sport programs for youth living in Chesterfield County, Virginia and other targeted metro-Richmond Counties. We’re registered with the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU), United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) and Youth Basketball of America (YBOA).
OUR HISTORY
The Virginia Flight Athletic Club was founded by several coaches and parents that shared an interest to develop, a competitive Athletic Association in Chesterfield County, Virginia, that would be Christian valued based and focused on the player development. At the end of 2004-2005 AAU Basketball Season, their vision was realized by merging several teams from Virginia Storm and Virginia Prep Stars AAU programs, into the Virginia Flight Athletic Club.
OUR GOAL
Virginia Flight Athletic Club goal is to attract, recruit and retain the leading players living in Chesterfield County, Virginia and other targeted markets and compete at a national level. In addition, our goal is the development of competitive student focused athletes, and positioning them to become productive contributors and moral examples in our community, nation and world.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Virginia Flight Athletic Club is to help build good Christian based values and to provide an opportunity for players to develop their overall game and increase their self -confidence. Our mission will be achieved by creating an environment where athletes can learn, grow, improve individual skills, build Christian based character and compete against the best athletes in the region and nation, while balancing their commitment to God, family, school and community.
